2024 AAPM Annual Meeting & Exhibition Island Booth Submission
Deadline: May 9, 2024

All Island Booths must submit their booth scale drawings (20x20 or larger) for approval by May 9th. Failure to submit the Island Booth drawing may delay construction of the exhibit booth during installation.

AAPM Headquarters and the Technical Exhibits Subcommittee will review each submission. This form should be completed one time, you cannot stop and start the form. If your Island Booth design changes after you have submitted this form, please contact rachel@aapm.org

Before submitting your booth drawing, please take a minute to review the Regulations and Design Rules.

When submitting your booth drawings, the following information MUST be included for booth approval to be provided. If an item is not included with the submission, that will delay the approval process.
 
  • Aerial Booth (Top) view including the height and 1ft set back identified.
  • Vertical Booth (Side) view including the height and 1ft set back identified.
  • NEW! Please review the following information from the convention center regarding permits needed for Temporary Structures over 12' in height. LA Rules Temporary Structures.
  • Due to the LA Rule: If the booth is over 12’ in height, a copy of the engineer’s certificate or stamped approval of the floor plans must be provided.
  • Equipment pieces identified.Booth structures identified.
  • Booth structure construction material identified (i.e. cloth, hard wall, glass, metal mesh, etc.)
  • NEW! All hanging signs weighing 500 lbs. or more must accompany a drawing reviewed, signed, and stamped by a licensed structural engineer to certify structural integrity and safety. If weight is unknown, a licensed structural engineer must provide an engineer stamp of approval.


Important rules to note:
  • All Island Exhibits must maintain a 1' (0.305m) setback of all exhibit structures 4' in height or taller from the floor.
  • Theater presentations and/or product demonstrations must be set back from the aisle to allow for chairs and standing room within the booth to accommodate attendees.
  • Supplemental Overhead Lighting: Overhead lighting systems, attached to the facility building structure, may be requested by exhibitors with island exhibits (20' x 20' [6.1m x 6.1m] or greater). Exhibitors wishing to hang lighting systems will be required to submit a Lighting Truss Diagram to TES. Lighting instruments, regardless of type, must be positioned inside the perimeter boundaries of the purchased floor space and cannot affect other exhibitors.
  • Installation of all exhibit booths (300 sq. ft or larger) and the removal of all empties must be completed by 12:00 pm Saturday, July 20.
